Access to good nutricious food is important for the positive health and wellbeing of our population, across the life course, for our children, adults and older people.
Food Futures commitment to identifying needs and improving health for the most vulnerable has led to a number of specific projects and workstreams, for both the Food Futures coordination team and in support of our wider partners.
Food Futures have worked with Greater Manchester Poverty Action to help develop an on-line directory of emergency food provision services to help support people who are in immediate need of food. The on-line map has a search facility to find an emergency food provider within our communities and across Greater Manchester. You can access this on-line search facilitiy here.
